Please contact Michelle ( XXXX@kw.com ) for more information about this pet. This young pup is available for adoption through Brother Wolf Animal Rescue, currently residing in 1 of our loving foster homes. Please contact the foster parent for more information! All Brother Wolf animals are spayed/neutered, micro chipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations before adoption (if species appropriate). Application and counseling is required prior to all adoptions. Individuals interested in adopting a puppy are STRONGLY encouraged to download and read this FREE ebook. Even if you've raised pups in the past, this is an invaluable resource to help make your new addition successful! Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mixture. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.

Dachshund Adoption - Adopt Augie a Tricolor (Tan/Brown & Black & White) Beagle / Dachshund / MixedAdopt Augie a Tricolor (Tan/Brown & Black & White) Beagle / Dachshund / Mixed

Rutherfordton, NC

Dachshund Adoption Source: Adopt-a-Pet.com

This pup will be available to go to it's fur-ever family on January 30, 2016, after it has completed H4S's strict quarantine period which requires three puppy boosters and spay/neuter surgery recovery time. Since H4S has learned that this pup's daddy was a Chihuahua, we will not be accepting applications where there is a small child living in or visiting the home regularly. Generally-speaking, Chihuahuas are not a great match with young kids.

Dachshund Adoption - Adopt Eli a Black - with Tan, Yellow or Fawn Dachshund / Mixed dog inAdopt Eli a Black - with Tan, Yellow or Fawn Dachshund / Mixed dog in

Greenville, SC

Dachshund Adoption Source: Adopt-a-Pet.com

Hello there, I am Eli! I am a 23 lb Dachshund mixture. We are not sure what I am mixed with, the breeder said I was a standard Dachshund but I was useless. Why? Because I did not like the miniature Dachshunds he tried to breed me to. So he put me in a tiny cage and sold me at the Flea Market. I have been in foster care for almost two years to teach me how to be a dog. Yes, that is right. I had to be taught to walk on grass. Taught how to drink water out of a bowl and stop hiding in the corner. Now I am a confident young man that wants to move to a home of his own. I am still shy and need a home with experience. I am not the kind of dog a 1st time dog owner should adopt. I like toys and I love to lay in the back of the couch and watch TELEVISION! 1 of my new favorite things is to walk on a leash in the park. It took some time but I love going for walks now. Most dogs and I get along. I am great with both large and small dogs. I can be a little bossy with some dogs. But I am not aggressive or bite them.

Dachshund Adoption - Adopt Schnitzel a Red/Golden/Orange/Chestnut - with White Dachshund / Mixed dogAdopt Schnitzel a Red/Golden/Orange/Chestnut - with White Dachshund / Mixed dog

Greenville, SC

Dachshund Adoption Source: Adopt-a-Pet.com

Hello I am Schnitzel 1 yr young and eleven pounds. I am being fostered in Greenville, SC and I am looking for my own home. My life has been crazy. Someone ran me over with a car and tried to run me over again when my Guardian Angel stepped in. I had to have my pelvis and back leg fixed. I now have Bionic Powers with my titanium nuts and bolts. You would never know it, I am so active and show no signs of ever having been reconstructed. I am like Superman and Bionic Man all wrapped into one amazingly attractive body. I am also famous as I was on Fox Carolina News. I am really cute and active. Love toys and treats. And all dogs. I do like to bite large dogs in their heels so it is best to be around small dogs only since we do not want to risk my getting bitten by a large dog. I am pee pad trained and almost housebroken. I also LOVE toys and I like to play outside. I am looking for a home with a yard that I can help cultivate. Need tons of toys or a pile of dirt. Both make me happy.

My Name is Bridgette, DOB 7/31/14 Mom is a Dachshund and Daddy left to fast to know what he is. Since we do not know what Dad is we also do not know how big I will be. Mom weighs twelve pounds and we think I will stay small too....I am fully vetted including all age appropriate shots and I am chipped too. :) I currently weigh in at twelve pounds and more than likely will not get any bigger. Please read about my personality as it is very important you understand what my needs are. I am very close to the other dogs in my foster home but am very leery of people. I have never been hurt or exposed to anything negative, i am simply just super shy. So shy that it will take some time to get me to come to you. Not just a day or two. My adopter has to be very gentle and committed to patience.

Dachshund Adoption Source: Adopt-a-Pet.com

My name is Traci. I have a rather sordid past and it is not pretty. I was kept outside all of my life and on a chain. I have given birth to many, many litters without the benefit of medical care. My babies were simply sold and I was left to grieve on my own. No matter how bad the weather I was on a chain outside. On occasion I would get loose and try to find a safe place but my captors kept getting me back. Animal control was at my house many times but never lent a helping hand. Since I had a raggedy house and some water they said by law I was OK. Well I was not. Many tried to get me away from the situation but my captors would not let me go. Last year I was shot in my face which resulted in me losing an eye. The bullet went through my eye and came back out of my head. No internal damage per X-rays and no other damage other than I have a scar and only 1 eye. But with that 1 eye I can spot a kind and loving person. That is what I am looking for,
