Nickname: Bree Posted Breed: Spaniel / Dachshund / Mixed (short coat). I am about six years old and VERY loyal to my owner. My foster mom and other people think I may be a spaniel/Dachshund with some Aussie or border collie too. My herding instinct is strong, and I like to burrow in the covers or the crook of your arm. My foster mom's outdoor cat doesn't interest me a bit; I just walk past him. And I like other dogs! Going for car rides is my favorite thing to do after eating. My next favorite thing to do is play fetch! I am not as fast as I used to be, so I am on a diet to take off some weight. I will fetch pretty much anything, but the best is a stuffed animal that flops around when I shake the life out of it! Treats were something new for me. I now sit for them and am learning about shaking paw. If I really want to play or go outside, or if you are taking long to fix my supper, I snap my jaws together with a bark because I can't snap my fingers.

Nickname: Bandit and Smokey Posted Breed: Lab Retriever / Dachshund / Mixed (short coat). Bandit (at 33-lbs.) and Smokey (at 31-lbs) are a pair of Lab Retriever/Daschund mixes who are beyond precious! Smokey, the black one, is 2-years old and Bandit is 5-years old. Smokey is a little more laid back than Bandit but the energy level of both of them can be considered moderate. Both are very smart and, when they came to us, were not house broken. They are being trained and are making great progress! They love people, love to play, and going for a walk is an exciting time for both! These boys do not like to share their food or their treats, so meal time will have to be in separate locations. They respond with such joy to affection and need a family who will love them forevermore! Charlie's Angels Animal Rescue Adoption Center is located at 5526 Hendersonville Rd, Fletcher, NC 28732. I am about 6 yrs old and VERY loyal to my owner. My foster mom and other people think I may be a spaniel/Dachshund with some Aussie or border collie too. My herding instinct is strong, but my foster mom's outdoor cat doesn't interest me a bit; I just walk past him. And I like other dogs! Sometimes I can get bossy with my canine foster brother, but he is such a pushover, I can't help it ;-) Going for car rides is my favorite thing to do after eating. Treats were something new for me. I now sit for them and am learning about shaking paw. My next favorite thing to do is play fetch! If I really want to play or go outside, or if you are taking long to fix my supper, I snap my jaws together with a bark because I can't snap my fingers. I am an excellent watch dog and will need about three weeks to learn the normal sounds in my new home.

Please contact Erica ( XXXX@gmail.com ) for more details about this pet. Hello! My name is Possum. I am about 12yrs old and weigh 10lbs. I am currently living peacefully with big dogs, small dogs and cats. I would probably be fine with children if they leave me alone. I am a very friendly, snuggly dog and I am doing very well with my house-training, but I have a few special needs because I have had a rough life. I am blind. I need a fence because I am not leash trained and panic when I am restrained, but I do love laying in the sun or snuffling around the yard when it is warm. I have very few teeth and cannot tolerate kibble, so I need a diet of canned or raw food. My lungs are not healthy enough for me to be spayed, so I will need to be far away from intact males. I have allergies that are helped immensely by a $50/month injection. My 2 favorite things to do are snuggle and eat!

Hi, I am Oscar...I am a very distinguished young man that loves almost everyone. I am a little snooty but if I think you are worthy of my affection I will give it to you. I am around 8ish and I weigh 13 lbs!!! I was dumped at a High Kill Shelter in SC looking pretty rough and I also had Heart worms and bad teeth...well all that is now fixed. I have undergone heart worm treatment and I am about to get a dental to make my teefies all shiny and sparkling. I am completely vetted and up to date on all of my shots! I would like a quiet mature home to live. You may have kids but they need to be like the kids I currently live with. Calm and well mannered and loving. So they should be at least 12 yrs old. No little screaming banshees as my nerves can't take it. I am house broken, crate trained and I have exceptional leash manners. I also know how to use a doggy door. Car rides and walks are awesome.

I am a 16 lb, longhaired Dachshund. I was born on 7/17/2011. A few months ago I landed in bad shape at the local kill shelter. I was a total train wreck. I had heart-worms, my ears and eyes were so infected that it took almost a month to clear me up. I had bald spots all over my fur due to flea bites and just not being cared for properly. My teeth were nasty and I was skinny. All that has changed. I have been fully vetted to include Heartworm Treatment. My fur is growing back beautifully and I am healing from being left behind in such bad shape. I am being spoiled by my foster parents and I love it. I am a quiet laid back kind of guy. DO not get me wrong, I do love to play and such but overall I am just chill. Car rides and walks get my blood pumping. I love to go places and have people tell me how lovely I am. Not a big barker either. Less than average for a Dachshund. Who needs to bark when you look this great? I simply prance! Housetrained if on a schedule and you respond to my signs that I have to go.

Pia is a super cute little girl. She suffers from CDLS Chronic Dachshund Licking Syndrome...she air licks and she will lick you unless you pet her. That is 1 way to get her to stop for a bit :) Pia weighs 7 lbs!!! She is 4 yrs young!!! Pia came to us via a Hoarder/Backyard breeder. She had little to no social skllls when she 1st arrived and tried to eat every human she saw. We have spent a lot of time with her training her that humans are OK. She does take a bit to warm up and is a typical Dachshund that LOVES her humans. She will try to guard you from intruders and from anyone that she thinks will hurt you...she has her little grrr grrr grrr down pat. Pia needs a Dachshund Experienced mature family or person to adopt her. No children since we do not trust her to be nice if they reach for her without warning. Pia is a love bug once she knows you and would not hurt a fly, however the key is to get to know her. She gets along with most dogs and ignores cats.
